Welcome to TEHA!

Welcome to the Tennessee Environmental Health Association. We are excited to bring you this website. If there is anything you would like to see here, please contact us.

TEHA has recently joined forces with the Tennessee Public Health Association and will join them for their annual meeting August 27-29, 2008.  We are working on getting approval for continuing education for the REHS/RS at this meeting.  As it is available, we will post the number of available contact hours on this website.  Over 9 hours were available at last year's meeting.

Nominations are currently being accepted for the prestigious Lynn B. Hearn Award, and the Annual Achievement Awards.  Nominations must be sumitted to your Affiliate Chairman prior to May 31, 2007.  These awards will be presented during the TPHA Annual Educational Conference.

Committees are needed for the Interstate Environmental Health Seminar in July 2009!  We will be hosting this exciting event and much help is needed in preparing to welcome our friends from neighboring cities and states!  Please contact your affiliate chair or email melissa.wolford@gmail.com

Updates are needed for the upcoming newsletter.  Please send these to your Affiliate Chairman or Mark Houser as soon as possible.

If you would like more information about the association, please contact me at melissa.wolford@gmail.com, with a subject of "TEHA".
